Our client is seeking an experienced 'Salesforce Solution Architect' to drive the strategic design and delivery of one of the largest Salesforce ecosystems in the Australian Federal Government. Operating across multi-org and multi-cloud environments, this program underpins high-impact initiatives such as consular crisis response, trade sanctions, governance, and student scholarship programs.

This is a career-defining opportunity to shape our client's enterprise Salesforce landscape ensuring it is secure, sustainable, and cost-efficient. As a seasoned Salesforce SME, you will actively be involved in mentoring delivery teams and influencing architecture decisions at the highest level.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement, and govern Salesforce architecture across multiple orgs and clouds.
• Lead technical design reviews and present new architecture patterns to the Architecture Review Board.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of business requirements, building Salesforce roadmaps and enterprise-level data models.
• Design integration solutions aligned with our client's ICT strategy and whole-of-government standards.
• Champion declarative-first approaches while balancing programmatic development.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Cyber Security ISM and records management under the Archives Act.
• Mentor Salesforce Developers, Admins, and Analysts, uplifting delivery capability across BAU and project streams.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale Salesforce programs.
• Proven ability to model business workflows and BPMN processes.
• Demonstrated experience in enterprise integration design.
• Experience transitioning Salesforce projects into BAU sustainment.
• Skilled in Agile/Kanban/Scrum, Azure DevOps, version control, and CI/CD tooling.
• Active Salesforce community engagement and ongoing platform knowledge.
• Salesforce Architect certifications (Application, System, Technical) or related certifications are highly regarded.
• Salesforce Designer certifications

Contract and clearance

• Clearance: NV1 Security Clearance (Mandatory)
• Contract Length: 12 months + 2 x 12-month extensions (based on Department discretion)
