Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a software engineer to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions in enterprise environments. You will work with a Deployment Strategist and delivery team to co-build production-grade systems and ensure reliable operations.

You will own components from architecture to deployment, model data and pipelines, and partner with customers to translate business challenges into actionable AI solutions, with a focus on data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or related field.
3+ years in software engineering or technical delivery; 6–10 years for Senior.
At least one production system to demonstrate.
Customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting or professional services.
Experience delivering projects in Public Sector, Higher Education, or Nonprofit.
Fluency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering.
Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
Ability to work with sales teams and customer architects.
Ability to ship quality code and evaluate AI outputs with rigor.
Willingness to travel ~25% of the time.
Salesforce certifications nice-to-have.
Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and orchestration patterns nice-to-have.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery nice-to-have.
Experience in data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering
Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns
Ability to work with sales teams and customer architects
Ability to ship quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigor
Active experimentation with AI/data tools, models, and frameworks
Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
Salesforce platform experience or certifications (Administrator, Platform Developer I, Agentforce Specialist) nice-to-have
