Job summary

Bupa, Melbourne, is seeking a Senior Solution Designer to lead the technical design for Dynamics 365 CRM and the Power Platform. You will own architecture, integration patterns, and security models to ensure scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.

Embedded with delivery squads from discovery to delivery, you will drive architectural decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliant, maintainable implementations across Microsoft technologies.

Qualifications

• Tertiary IT qualification required.
• Experience in configuring and developing Dynamics 365 CRM applications and related services.
• Proficiency with Power Platform, Dataverse, and Azure services.
• Strong understanding of security models and ALM for Dynamics 365/Power Platform.

The purpose of this job

This role is the technical design authority and application architecture owner for the Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform ecosystem powering Bupa's Provider Management experience. The role will define and own the application blueprint, solution architecture, integration patterns, application design standards, security models, environment and ALM strategy, technical roadmaps, NFRs and architecture guardrails across Dynamics 365 CRM, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Pages, and Azure integration services.

Embedded with delivery squads from discovery through delivery and operational handover, the role ensures solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, maintainable, supportable, and aligned to enterprise architecture. This is a hands‑on role that will draw on deep Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure expertise, while providing architecture‑level accountability and decision authority for relevant applications, including application architecture, integration patterns, and data models.

What you’ll need to make it possible:

• Tertiary qualification in an IT discipline or related field
• Expert in configuration and development of Dynamics 365 CRM applications, including adjacent services and technologies such as the Power Platform, SSIS, Plugins, Logic Apps, Web Apps, API Design and Function Apps
• Expertise in Power Apps Portals for Dynamics 365 applications is essential
• Expertise in Application Lifecycle Management for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
• Experience as an architect in Dataverse modelling, Dynamics 365 security roles, integrations, and Azure Services
• Experience in .NET / C# experience including Web Services development and deployment.
• Certification and extensive experience working with architecture frameworks / methods
• Extensive experience in application architecture, design and implementation of Dynamics 365 applications
• Proven ability to leverage technical expertise to guide teams and influence decision makers
• Experience with Azure Cloud services (mandatory) and DevOps (desirable)
• SQL Server, Oracle or other SQL experience mandatory, experience with NoSQL databases advantageous
