Job summary

First Focus seeks an experienced Solution Consultant to turn qualified conversations into high-quality commercial outcomes. You will qualify, discover, shape AI/IT solutions and close with SMB and mid-market clients across Australia and New Zealand.

You will own the sales process end-to-end, translating AI, security, cloud and managed services capability into business value, while collaborating with technical specialists to deliver measurable client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of consultative selling, solution consulting or services sales experience.
• Track record selling managed services, professional services, IT consulting, cloud, cyber, AI-enabled services or similar complex services.
• Experience selling into SMB or mid-market organisations.
• Confidence speaking with owners, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, IT leaders and senior managers.
• Ability to qualify firmly and avoid wasting time on weak opportunities.
• Strong written communication and ability to produce clear proposals.
• Curiosity to learn service lines quickly and know when to bring in specialists.
• Genuine interest in AI and how it can help businesses improve performance.
• Commercial maturity with high standards and earning potential expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial conversation from qualification through to proposal and close.
• Understand client business, identify real pain, test urgency and map decision processes.
• Shape a commercially sound and deliverable solution with internal specialists as needed.
• Write clear, credible proposals for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure clean handovers into onboarding and delivery for successful outcomes.
