Job summary

Medibank is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to shape and deliver technology solutions across the enterprise within the PA&I team. You will lead solution planning, design scalable and secure architectures and partner with senior stakeholders to turn business goals into practical outcomes.

The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Melbourne, requiring extensive experience across Agile and Waterfall environments and a track record of driving architecture governance and best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of solution architecture delivery in complex enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to develop pragmatic architecture strategies, roadmaps and recommendations.
• Strong experience with architecture frameworks and governance practices (TOGAF, SAFe).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of solution architectures aligning with business goals and technology direction.
• Partner with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver architecture outcomes.
• Drive alignment between solution, enterprise and platform architecture for an integrated tech landscape.
• Establish and maintain architecture standards, governance practices and reusable assets.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams across programs.
• Evaluate technology solutions and support vendor selection.
• Champion innovation and architectural best practice across programs.
