Job summary

Medibank Private Limited is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to shape and deliver technology solutions that drive business outcomes within the Performance, Architecture & Innovation team. You will lead solution planning, partner with stakeholders, and design scalable, secure architectures aligned with enterprise strategy.

The role sits in a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, offering opportunities to influence strategic technology decisions and drive architecture evolution in a complex enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience delivering solution architecture in complex enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to develop pragmatic architecture strategies, roadmaps and recommendations.
• Experience with architecture frameworks and governance practices such as TOGAF and SAFe.
• Demonstrated success designing and delivering large-scale, multi-system solutions across Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills with multiple priorities.
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of solution architectures that align with business goals and strategic technology direction.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, define solution visions and deliver business-focused architecture outcomes.
• Drive alignment between solution, enterprise and platform architecture to ensure an integrated technology landscape.
• Establish and maintain architecture standards, governance practices and reusable architectural assets.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support planning, design and delivery activities.
• Evaluate technology solutions, support vendor selection activities and recommend architecture options.
• Champion innovation, continuous improvement and architectural best practice across programs and teams.
