Job summary

Government Organisation in Canberra seeks a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design, integration and governance of enterprise security solutions within a large-scale program. You will drive architecture artefacts and provide technical leadership across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments.

The role requires strong enterprise architecture background, cyber security expertise and stakeholder engagement within complex government programs.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Architecture, cloud or cyber security certifications will be highly regarded.

• Lead solution architecture activities across major technology and security initiatives.
• Design secure, scalable and high-performing enterprise solutions.

Job Description

• Significant experience in Solution Architecture within large and complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and methodologies.
• Experience designing solutions across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working across security, infrastructure, networks, applications and integration domains.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Experience producing high-quality architecture documentation and technical artefacts.

Desirable

• Experience within Defence, National Security or Federal Government environments.
• Exposure to cyber security, identity management, key management or privileged access management solutions.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, governance and accreditation processes.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or other cloud platforms.
