Western Sydney University is recruiting a Senior Solution Architect to lead the architecture of secure, integrated corporate systems across finance, HR, procurement and services. You will provide strategic and technical leadership for enterprise-wide solutions, translating priorities into scalable designs across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.

Formación

• Postgraduate qualifications in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• Proven enterprise architecture, systems integration and solution design experience in a complex organisation.
• Experience implementing or integrating ERP, HRIS, payroll, procurement or finance platforms.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or comparable architecture frameworks; experience with ArchiMate, Sparx EA or Lucidchart.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence senior decision-makers on technical matters.

• Partner with business leaders, technical teams and vendors to assess emerging technologies and embed cybersecurity, privacy and sustainability into platforms.
• Establish governance, documentation and lifecycle readiness to strengthen solution oversight.
• Provide trusted technical leadership to architects, engineers and delivery teams.

Senior Solution Architect, Corporate Systems

• Fulltime, 12 monthfixed termposition at HEW Level 8.
• Hawkesbury campus with flexible working arrangements.
• Salary: $120,754 – $134,051 per annum, plus 17% Super and Leave Loading.

Lead the architecture of secure, integrated corporate systems supporting finance, HR, procurement and University services.

The Opportunity
You will provide strategic and technical leadership for enterprise-wide solutions across the University’s corporate systems landscape. Working across finance, HR, legal, procurement and enterprise service platforms, you will translate organisational priorities into scalable, secure and integrated solution designs.

You will lead the end-to-end architecture of complex solutions across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments. This includes modernising legacy systems, strengthening data integrity and enabling integration with internal data sources and third-party services through APIs, middleware and service bus technologies.

You will establish architectural standards, roadmaps and governance across the full solution lifecycle. Partnering with business leaders, technical teams and vendors, you will assess emerging technologies, guide investment decisions and embed cybersecurity, privacy, accessibility and sustainability into corporate platforms.

• Deliver scalable, secure solutions that integrate corporate platforms and data.
• Modernise legacy systems while improving interoperability and data integrity.

About You
