Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the AIR6500 program. You will help evolve the MSM application, expanding the front-end and back-end for the BCS platform and work within a collaborative, flexible hybrid setup.

The role calls for strong software skills across the full stack, experience with Linux environments, and an agile mindset. A defence security clearance and Australian citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen eligible for an active Defence security clearance.
• Tertiary engineering or related technical degree.
• Experience in Defence or complex engineering project environments.
• Backend or frontend software languages including Python, JavaScript, C, and UI design.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust networking and communications software with focus on security, scalability and performance.
• Design, integrate, test hardware and software systems.
• Write clean, reliable code.
• Review pull requests and provide feedback.
