Boeing Defence Australia seeks a Senior Software Engineer to support the Battlespace Communication System AIR6500 program in Brisbane. You will help design and scale the Mission System Manager, developing both front-end and back-end components to deliver secure, reliable communications for the ADF.

Qualifications

• Australian citizen eligible to obtain and maintain an active Australian Government Defence security clearance.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support the Battlespace Communication System (BCS) AIR6500 Program. BCS is a next-generation networking product that serves as the centrepiece for multiple projects and campaigns. Combining both developmental and off-the-shelf hardware and software, BCS provides world-leading communications capability for ADF personnel. It can be rapidly deployed anywhere, and its modular design provides a flexible, scalable solution customized for diverse mission needs.

This role will see you applying your software skills across the full stack to design, build, and scale the Mission System Manager (MSM) application powering the AIR6500 project. By evolving the user interface (front-end) and robust core logic (back-end) of BCS MSM platform.

Experience/Qualifications
