Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Mission Integration team in Canberra or Queensland, contributing to the development of software supporting Defence capabilities.

You will work closely with engineers and project managers in an Agile environment, designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software that meets standards and drives technical excellence across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software-related field required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in ASP.Net, C#, HTML, JavaScript.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Strong OOP and unit testing skills.
• Azure DevOps and Visual Studio experience.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Defence networks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software in accordance with relevant standards and processes.
• Participate in all agile software development sprint events.
• Assist with task decomposition and estimation of work.
• Assist with system testing including performance and unit testing.
• Assist with system documentation.
• Represent KBR professionally and adhere to policies and security requirements.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.
