Job summary

NRMA Insurance, part of IAG, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape digital payments and deliver secure, scalable experiences. You’ll work with engineers, designers and product specialists to advance customer facing payment solutions, applying AI enabled practices to improve delivery and code quality.

Qualifications

• Experience building modern applications with React, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Track record delivering customer facing digital products in agile environments.
• Experience applying AI tools to support software engineering outcomes.
• Ability work across front end and back end in full‑stack environments.
• Understanding of secure, accessible and high performing development.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of modern payment experiences including checkout journeys and account management features.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to deliver scalable, responsive solutions.
• Apply AI enabled practices to improve delivery efficiency and code quality.
• Translate business and payment requirements into high quality interfaces and services.
• Promote engineering excellence through code reviews and secure development practices.
• Mentor engineers and foster a collaborative culture of learning and innovation.
• Contribute to agile delivery activities and roadmap initiatives.
