Job summary

Wpay, part of Woolworths Group, is seeking a highly technical Senior Business Analyst to join the Digital Payments squad in Sydney. You will bridge business needs with technical delivery, elicit complex requirements, and shape robust payment solutions for our customers and partners.

You'll lead AI-enabled analysis, manage backlog, design stories, and produce clear documentation while collaborating with product, engineering, and external vendors in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical business analysis experience in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with front-end and back-end software.
• Hands-on with AI tools and LLMs for analysis, doc generation, problem investigation.
• Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence; Postman collections.

Responsibilities

• AI-enabled analysis to elicit requirements and generate acceptance criteria.
• Backlog ownership and alignment with product strategy.
• Drive design and prep of stories for key initiatives.
• Create process maps, diagrams and testable user stories with personas.
• Serve as SME for digital payments and guide engineers/merchants.
• Define success metrics, dashboards and instrumentation.
• Lead agile ceremonies and collaborate across disciplines.
