Job summary

me&u invites a Principal Product Manager to own the payments platform and revenue models across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US. You will retire legacy stacks, upgrade the ledger, and enable flexible pricing for new commercial models.

Based in Melbourne or Sydney, you will prototype rapid solutions with AI, set roadmaps with engineers and designers, and work with finance and partners to ensure reliable, scalable payments that power venues and guests globally.

Qualifications

• Deep payments experience on a platform or marketplace model.
• Experience onboarding merchants, fees and payouts on payments platforms.
• Familiar with Stripe Connect or Adyen for Platforms in production environments.
• Able to ship quickly and make commercial calls without extensive briefs.

Responsibilities

• Spot opportunities and set strategy/roadmap across platform and products with cross-functional teams.
• Make pricing, packaging and value-case decisions based on business outcomes.
• Prototype using AI to create working prototypes and get them in front of venues quickly.
• Understand key metrics like authorisation rates, transaction costs, disputes, payout timing.
• Anticipate regulatory changes across Australia, the UK and the US and translate into product requirements.
• Collaborate with payment partners to build and maintain the payments platform.
