Job summary

Morgan Consulting in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Software & DevOps Engineer to own AWS infrastructure while contributing to core C#/.NET development for a SaaS platform.

You’ll work across software and cloud infrastructure with AI-assisted tooling, focusing on secure, scalable, and maintainable systems. This hybrid role offers a permanent opportunity with a modern tech stack and a collaborative engineering environment in South Melbourne.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, devops or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and AWS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., AWS CDK) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to own technical problems and work autonomously.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designing, maintaining and improving AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code.
• Developing backend services in C#/.NET and contributing to SaaS platform development.
• Building containerised apps with Docker and managing AWS ECS Fargate.
• Enhancing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps YAML and automated deployments.
• Implementing secure, scalable, and reliable cloud architecture.
• Collaborating on architectural decisions and engineering best practices.
