Qualifications

• Proven experience leading social media operations for established international brands.
• Strong experience across visual/static and video content, with an understanding of how different formats support brand and business objectives.
• Proven experience managing and developing a social media/content team, including goal setting, resource allocation, and team performance.
• Experience in a managerial or team-lead role, with ownership of social media strategy, performance, and team development.
• Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred and a significant advantage.
• You must have full Australian working rights to be eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall social media strategy and roadmap, translating business and brand objectives into clear goals, channel strategies, content direction, and execution plans.
• Define the role of each social media platform and continuously optimize the channel mix based on audience, performance, and business priorities.
• Set clear KPIs and performance standards and take ownership of overall results.
• Lead and develop the social media/content team through goal setting, resource allocation, performance management, and coaching.
• Establish efficient workflows across content planning, production, publishing, analysis, and optimization.
• Prioritize projects and allocate resources based on business impact.
• Own the overall content strategy, content pillars, and publishing rhythm across platforms.
• Set content quality standards and ensure consistency in brand positioning, tone of voice, and messaging.
• Guide the team in developing both static and video content tailored to each platform.
• Establish social media KPIs, reporting, and performance monitoring across key metrics.
• Identify trends and performance gaps, translate insights into strategic decisions, and drive continuous optimization.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify industry trends, content opportunities, and emerging social media strategies.
• Monitor competitor activities and performance, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and continuously improve the social media strategy.
