Job summary

BCI Minerals is recruiting an SMP Supervisor for the Mardie project in Western Australia. The role provides site supervision, planning, quality control and construction management support to the Site Manager, directing contractor work to achieve objectives and ensuring compliance with safety and site-entry requirements.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years in a similar supervisory role in mining/Oil & Gas, hold High Risk Work Licences (Rigger Advanced, Scaffold Advanced, Crane) and have

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in a similar supervisory/ superintendent/ inspector role within Mining or Oil & Gas.
• High Risk Work Licences: Rigger Advanced, Scaffold Advanced and Crane.
• WA White Card and national police clearance (not older than 6 months) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Site Manager with field supervision, planning, quality management, coordination and construction management.
• Direct and control the work of contractors to meet contract and project objectives.
• Inspect contractor work daily and advise on corrective actions.
• Ensure site entry requirements for plant, equipment and personnel are complied with.
• Identify and obtain approvals for additional work outside the original contract/scope of work.
• Maintain documentation and records of contractor progress, schedule, materials deliveries and equipment.
