Job summary

Monadelphous Group is seeking an experienced SMP Supervisor with a focus on scaffolding, rigging, and SMP works for a major BHP project. FIFO 2:1 roster along with a generous salary package and nightshift allowances will be offered.

You will provide day-to-day leadership across site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with production requirements, project specifications, and WA construction legislation.

Qualifications

• Section 26 statutory qualification/experience relevant to the position.
• Advanced scaffolding qualification is required.
• Proven Crane and/or SMP Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership of site personnel and contractors.
• Fulfil Section 26 statutory requirements in accordance with WA mining legislation.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all site activities.
• Ensure compliance with site safety management systems, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Coordinate daily work activities to achieve production, project, and operational targets.
• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings, safety inspections, and incident reporting and investigations.
• Monitor work practices to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.
• Mentor, support, and develop team members to maintain high standards of performance, safety, and accountability.

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused SMP Supervisor with proven experience in Scaffolding Supervision, Rigging Supervision, and SMP works one of our major BHP projects on a FIFO 2:1 roster. This role will include a generous salary package and nightshift allowances.

The successful candidate will provide strong day-to-day leadership across site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with production requirements, project specifications, and WA construction legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership of site personnel and contractors.

Fulfil Section 26 statutory requirements in accordance with WA mining legislation.

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all site activities.

Ensure compliance with site safety management systems, procedures, and relevant legislation.

Coordinate daily work activities to achieve production, project, and operational targets.

Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings, safety inspections, and incident reporting and investigations.

Monitor work practices to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.

Mentor, support, and develop team members to maintain high standards of performance, safety, and accountability.

Work collaboratively with project management, site teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of works.
