Job summary

Dematic is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join the Project Delivery team in Acacia Ridge, QLD. This 18-month full-time fixed-term contract involves coordinating installation, commissioning, and engineering activities to deliver large-scale warehouse automation projects for major customers.

Work with a collaborative team, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget and quality standards while engaging with internal teams, contractors and clients.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5+ years as Site Supervisor/Manager on large capital projects.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical trade background is essential.
• Technical knowledge of material handling equipment is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of WHSE requirements is required.
• Strong and clear communication skills are essential.
• Proven team leadership experience is expected.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office products.
• Ability to travel interstate and overseas (APAC) when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation, commissioning and engineering activities on site.
• Review drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installations.
• Liaise with clients, builders and sub-contractors.
• Promote safety, risk management and environmental practices.
• Ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
• Manage sub-contractors and supervise on-site works.
• Oversee inspections and maintenance of installed equipment.
• Coordinate regular quality checks and commissioning.
