Dematic Pty. Ltd. (ILD-AUS) in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to coordinate installation, commissioning, and engineering activities on large warehouse automation projects. The role delivers projects safely, on time, and within budget, across major customer sites.

The 18-month full-time contract involves leading on-site teams, working with contractors and clients, and ensuring high quality standards throughout project delivery. A dynamic, collaborative team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager installing large capital projects.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical trade background.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of WHSE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review drawings/plans for installations.
• Liaise with clients, builders and subcontractors.
• Promote safety and risk management on site.
• Manage sub-contractors and supplier materials.
• Coordinate inspection and commissioning of equipment.

THE OPPORTUNITY

With a strong pipeline of exciting projects,Dematicis seeking an experienced and drivenSite Supervisorto join ourProject Delivery teamin Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery oflarge-scale warehouse automation projectsfor leading customers.

This is an 18-month full time fixed term contract position (with the possibility to extend) that is responsible for coordinatinginstallation, commissioning, and engineering activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be at the heart of bringing complex automation systems into full production, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

• Preparing and reviewing drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installations
• Liaising with clients, direct builders and sub-contractors
• Proactively promoting innovation, improvement, risk identification and safety management covering Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment
• Obtaining necessary materials and resources
• Organising and supervising the inspection and maintenance of the installed equipment
• Day to day management of sub-contractors
• Coordinating regular inspection of works for quality assurance
• Implement commissioning
• Ensuring safe installation procedures

Tasks and Qualifications:

SETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS REQUIRES

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager installing large capital projects
• Mechanical and/or Electrical trade background
• Technical knowledge of material handling equipment would be an advantage
• Thorough knowledge of WHSE requirements
• Strong and clear communication skills
• Proven team leadership skills
• Strong computer skills in MS office products
• Availability to travel interstate and overseas (APAC region) when required
