Job summary

Dematic is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Project Delivery team for Australia and New Zealand projects. This 18-month full-time fixed-term role focuses on coordinating installation, commissioning, and engineering activities on site to deliver safe, on-time, and high-quality automation projects.

You will lead on-site teams, liaise with clients and subcontractors, manage materials and resources, and ensure compliance with WHSE standards while maintaining strong communication

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager installing large capital projects.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical trade background.
• Technical knowledge of material handling equipment would be an advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of WHSE requirements.
• Strong and clear communication skills.
• Proven team leadership skills.
• Strong computer skills in MS office products.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Availability to travel and work interstate and overseas (APAC region) when required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing drawings and plans for mechanical and electrical installations.
• Liaising with clients, direct builders and sub-contractors.
• Proactively promoting innovation, improvement, risk identification and safety management covering Occupational Health, Safety and the Environment.
• Obtaining necessary materials and resources.
• Organising and supervising the inspection and maintenance of the installed equipment.
• Day to day management of sub-contractors.
• Coordinating regular inspection of works for quality assurance.
• Implement commissioning.
• Ensuring safe installation procedures.
