Job summary

Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV), a collaboration of WeBuild, Clough and Lane, is delivering the Snowy 2.0 pumped hydro project in NSW. We seek a site leader to plan, organise and control operations to meet safety, cost, time and quality targets across the construction programme.

As a Trade-qualified supervisor with White Card, C Class Licence and strong team management experience, you will supervise subcontractors and crews, manage drawings, short-term programs, and ensure environmental

Qualifications

• Trade qualified with related site experience.
• White Card is required.
• C Class Driver’s Licence needed.
• Certificate 4 in Civil Construction Supervision is desirable.
• High Risk Works Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand drawings, programs, specifications and sequences of work for the scope.
• Supervise work and provide clear instructions to minimise rework.
• Review drawings for constructability and work with the Superintendent/Construction Manager to resolve issues.
• Assist in developing and monitoring short-term programs and forecasts.
• Identify risks to the critical path and report delays to the Superintendent/Project Manager.
• Monitor progress against the short-term program and adjust as needed to meet targets.
• Ensure effective shift handovers and foster a One Team culture.
• Mentor Apprentices and Trainees and ensure learning outcomes are met.
• Coach and develop site personnel and address IR/ER issues with management.
• Ensure subcontractors are supervised and resourced to complete on time.
• Organise materials, plant and equipment and maintain access on site.
• Ensure environmental controls and safety of the workforce.
