Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is overseeing Snowy 2.0 through a premier site management role. You will plan, organise, lead and control site operations to ensure safety, cost, time, quality and environment targets are achieved.

This role requires hands-on leadership on large concrete construction and tunnel-related works, with experience in managing subcontractors and self-perform crews. White Card and relevant licenses are preferred; remote-site experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• White Card is required for site access.
• C Class Driver's License is required for site travel.
• Certificate 4 in Civil Construction Supervision is desirable, not essential.
• High Risk Works Licence is desirable, not essential.

Responsabilités

• Review drawings, programs, project specifications and sequences of work for the scope of work.
• Supervise work and provide clear instructions to minimise rework.
• Assess constructability and raise issues for clarification or redesign with the Superintendent/Construction Manager.
• Assist in developing and monitoring short-term programs (3-week look ahead).
• Identify risks on the critical path and mitigate delays to meet targets.
• Monitor progress and adapt solutions to accelerate or optimise works.
• Ensure effective shift handovers and foster a collaborative One Team culture.
• Mentor Apprentices and Trainees in line with learning outcomes.
• Coach and develop day-to-day performance of employees.
• Identify and resolve IR/ER issues and escalate appropriately.
• Ensure subcontractors are supervised and resourced adequately.
• Organise materials, plant and equipment to maintain progress.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance on site.
