Job summary

Future Generation Joint Venture in NSW is seeking a Site Engineer for the Snowy 2.0 project. You will inspect equipment, install technologies, direct crews on site, and report on project status to ensure designs are followed and work progresses safely.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, White Card, and at least three years in construction, with TBMs and large-scale projects preferred. You will collaborate with clients and manage field activities in remote conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• White Card essential for site work.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction, preferred.
• Experience on TBMs and large-scale projects desirable.
• Ability to interpret technical schedules and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams.
• Process-oriented with attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site research and inspect equipment and technologies.
• Communicate with clients to determine needs and explain complex issues.
• Manage field activities and implement engineering designs.
• Diagnose construction or machinery problems and resolve crises.
• Oversee repairs and technical improvements on site.
• Install new systems and technology; ensure safety testing.
• Maintain onsite equipment and supervise technicians.
• Draft and submit clear reports on progress.
