Job summary

Westcon Site Management is seeking a hands-on site supervisor to lead day-to-day construction activities in Queensland. You will coordinate trades, manage subcontractors and material deliveries, and ensure work progresses safely, efficiently and in alignment with the program, drawings and quality standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager and Construction Manager, you will supervise direct labour, monitor WHS compliance, and maintain on-site records and reports while driving timely completion

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 5 years in commercial construction.
• Trade certificate and Site Supervisor Licence required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate trades and maintain timelines.
• High standard of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries to meet construction programs.
• Manage day-to-day site activities and coordinate trades.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, WHS Manager and subcontractors.
• Supervise direct labour and provide hands-on leadership on site.
• Monitor and implement WHS policies, procedures and site requirements.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, quality requirements and relevant legislation.
• Identify and resolve site issues efficiently.
• Complete and maintain all required site-based documentation, records and reports.
• Assist with planning, sequencing and programming of works.
