Job summary

Jump Trading Group is seeking a Production Infrastructure SRE to own the production environment and drive reliability across the global trading platform. You will monitor large-scale systems, deploy changes with minimal risk, and build tooling for configuration management, deployment, and observability.

The role requires a strong background in Linux, networking, Python and shell scripting, with an ownership mindset and calm, proactive problem-solving under pressure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT ops, DevOps, SRE or Linux systems engineering.
• Strong Python and shell scripting skills.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Ability to own incidents and drive operational changes.
• Comfort working with traders, risk and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the production environment, driving performance, reliability and operability.
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot large-scale trading systems and connectivity.
• Build and maintain devops tooling for deployment, config management, monitoring and data collection.
• Collaborate across teams to analyze and resolve complex system problems.
• Coordinate changes with Risk Management and Operational Trading Support during incidents.
