Job summary

Heritage Stone is seeking a Senior Site Measure & Project Technician to join our team in South East Queensland. You will be responsible for accurate digital site measurements, templating, and preparing complete project data for drafting and production, while representing Heritage Stone on client sites.

You will work closely with homeowners, builders and installers to ensure projects meet the highest standards, with emphasis on quality, documentation and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience measuring stone benchtops or similar joinery projects.
• Prodim Proliner Digital templating experience.
• Strong understanding of cabinetry and construction drawings.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Current Australian Driver Licence and White Card.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate digital measurements using the Prodim Proliner.
• Create digital templates and upload files to the company server.
• Verify cabinetry dimensions and installation ready for production.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Senior Site Measure & Project Technician to join our team.

This is a senior technical position that plays a vital role in ensuring every project is accurately measured, properly documented and ready for production and installation.

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out accurate digital site measurements using the Prodim Proliner Digital Templating System, identifying site issues before production, and providing complete digital templates and project information to our drafting and factory teams.

You will be the face of Heritage Stone on site and will work closely with customers, builders, cabinet makers and installers to ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Site Measurement

• Carry out accurate digital measurements using the Prodim Proliner.
• Measure residential and commercial stone projects, including kitchens, laundries, vanities, splashbacks, reception counters, BBQ areas and custom joinery.
• Verify cabinetry dimensions and installation quality.
• Confirm appliance locations, sink positions and customer selections.
• Assess site conditions before production.

Digital Templating & Documentation

• Create accurate digital templates using the Proliner.
• Upload measurement files to the company server.
• Record site notes, photographs and measurement reports.
• Provide complete information to the drafting and production teams.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate and completed on time.

Site Assessment & Problem Solving

• Identify issues such as out-of-square walls, uneven floors, plumbing or electrical conflicts, access restrictions and cabinetry defects.
• Recommend practical solutions before production begins.
• Escalate significant issues to management where required.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, cabinet makers and site supervisors.
• Explain the measurement process and installation requirements.
• Confirm project details and answer customer enquiries.
• Represent Heritage Stone professionally at every site.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure all measurements are accurate before production.
• Minimise production errors and site variations.
• Support continuous improvement in measuring procedures and documentation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience measuring stone benchtops or similar construction/joinery projects.
• Proven experience using the Prodim Proliner Digital Templating Or accurate measuring systems
• Strong understanding of cabinetry, joinery and construction drawings.
• Ability to identify and resolve site issues independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily schedules.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
• White Card (or willingness to obtain one).

Highly Regarded

Experience in one or more of the following industries will be highly regarded:

• Joinery
• Cabinet making
• Building and construction

Experience with CAD software or digital templating systems other than Proliner will also be advantageous.
