Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of full-time professional stonemasonry experience (benchtop fabrication experience preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to operate power tools, saws, edge polishers, and cutting machinery safely and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, precision measuring skills, and craftsmanship.
• Full working rights in Australia

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, trim, and face engineered stone, marble, and granite using hand tools, bridge saws, and precision power equipment.
• Ensure precise horizontal and vertical alignment using levels, gauge lines, and laser guides.
• Smooth, bevel, mitre, and polish edges and cut-outs to high architectural specifications.
• Repair minor stone defects, chips, and hairline cracks to ensure seamless finishes.
• Grout, seal, and clean joints using appropriate tools, sponges, and chemical solutions.
• Read layout sheets and plans to verify measurements prior to cutting

Uniquip Stone is a well-established Sydney-based stone processing and installation specialist. In partnership with major local cabinet makers and premium stone suppliers, we manufacture and install custom stone benchtops, vanities, and architectural stone features across Sydney.

Due to continuous business growth, we are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Full-Time Stonemason to join our production and installation team.

Key responsibilities

Cut, shape, trim, and face engineered stone, marble, and granite using hand tools, bridge saws, and precision power equipment

Ensure precise horizontal and vertical alignment using levels, gauge lines, and laser guides

Smooth, bevel, mitre, and polish edges and cut-outs to high architectural specifications

Repair minor stone defects, chips, and hairline cracks to ensure seamless finishes

Grout, seal, and clean joints using appropriate tools, sponges, and chemical solutions

Read layout sheets and plans to verify measurements prior to cutting

Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols, particularly silica dust control standards

About you

Minimum 3 years of full-time professional stonemasonry experience (benchtop fabrication experience preferred)
