Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a $15M commercial build in Perth, WA. You will lead day-to-day site activities, ensure safety, quality and programme delivery, and coordinate subcontractors with support from a strong project team.

Ideally you have demonstrated site management on similar scale projects, a solid understanding of construction programmes, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects.
• Experience delivering new build projects.
• Strong subcontractor and site management skills.
• Excellent understanding of construction programmes, safety and quality.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain project momentum.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Relevant construction qualifications and site-based experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing all site-based construction activities from commencement through to completion.
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers.
• Managing site safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project plans, specifications and programme.
• Monitoring project progress and driving programme outcomes.
• Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team.
• Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Identifying and resolving issues on site.
• Maintaining a high standard of site presentation, quality and workmanship.
