Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-rise residential projects.
• Experience delivering Class 2 new-build projects valued 50–100M+ AUD.
• Experience with a developer-builder is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of large, complex residential projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, plant and site logistics.
• Work with Project Manager on sequencing and milestones.
• Ensure safety and WHS compliance.
• Maintain build quality and compliance with drawings and specs.
• Monitor site performance and manage risks.
• Build relationships with site teams, consultants and stakeholders.
• Oversee defect management and handover.

The Opportunity

To support our growing pipeline of major residential developments, we are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our Construction team.

About the Role

As the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and performance of site operations. You will work closely with the Project Manager to manage programme sequencing, safety, quality, and stakeholder relationships, while maintaining strong site culture and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day delivery of large, complex residential construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, plant, and site logistics to maintain programme certainty
• Work closely with the Project Manager to manage construction sequencing and milestones
• Ensure all works are delivered safely and in full compliance with WHS legislation and site requirements
• Maintain high standards of build quality and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards
• Monitor site performance and proactively manage risks impacting safety, quality, programme, or cost
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with site teams, consultants, and stakeholders
• Oversee defect management and drive quality outcomes through to handover

What We’re Looking For

Experience and Capability

• Proven experience as a Site Manager / Senior Site Manager on high-rise residential projects
• Experience delivering Class 2 new-build projects valued $50M–$100M+
• Prior experience working for a developer-builder is highly regarded
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, and programme control
• Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors and site teams effectively
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and proven experience managing site safety
