Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd in Australia is seeking an experienced General Foreperson to lead day-to-day site operations on the New Richmond Bridge Project. You will coordinate multiple crews, mentor supervision staff and drive delivery with a safety-first focus.

You will work closely with the engineering team to sequence works, plan labour and resources, and keep the program moving while maintaining high quality and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Our client seeks significant civil construction experience with a track record of delivering complex works safely.
• Ability to lead large site teams and coordinate multiple activities.
• Strong decision-making and hands-on leadership on the ground.
• Proven mentoring of supervisors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day site operations across multiple fronts safely and on programme.
• Provide leadership and direction to Forepersons, Leading Hands, crews and subcontractors.
• Plan and allocate labour, plant and resources to maximise productivity.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement practical solutions to maintain quality.
• Collaborate with the General Superintendent and Engineering Team to sequence works.
• Champion safety, quality and performance culture in line with standards.
