Job summary

Ventia is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager based in Perth with occasional site travel to Barrow Island. You will lead safety, health, environment and quality outcomes across the Chevron Rig & Well Services contract, and mentor a team of SHEQ Advisors in a high‑risk, contractor environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SHEQ functions within a contractor or service delivery environment.
• Partnering with major clients whilst supporting operational teams to deliver results.
• Experience managing audits, assurance programs, investigations and risk management activities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop SHEQ teams.
• Experience working in high-risk operational environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Practical, solution-focused leadership style.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, Environmental Management or Quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of SHEQ outcomes across Ventia's Rig & Well Services contract with Chevron on Barrow Island.
• Develop and mentor a team of SHEQ Advisors to ensure high performance.
• Oversee assurance programs, incident investigations and risk management activities.
• Analyse performance trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Balance client expectations with operational delivery in a contractor environment.
