Job summary

Highrise Commercial pty ltd in Melbourne is seeking a senior service technician to lead our on-site service team. You’ll fault-find and fix the hard jobs, and keep the preventive maintenance program on schedule across client sites.

You will lead a team of service techs, communicate with builders and facility managers, and deliver thorough job sheets and reports. This role offers ongoing commercial service and maintenance work and a clear path to take ownership on site.

Qualifications

• Qualified refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic.
• Restricted electrical licence or higher.
• Strong commercial HVAC fault-finding experience.
• Experience running PM schedules and leading techs.
• Driver's licence and white card.
• Organised, clear communicator who finishes the job properly.

Responsibilities

• Fault-find and repair commercial HVAC systems: chillers, VRF/VRV, packaged and split units, AHUs, FCUs and ventilation.
• Diagnose electrical and controls faults, and fix them first time.
• Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance so every site visit happens on time.
• Allocate, support and lead a team of service techs.
• Keep builders, building managers and facility managers informed.
• Complete job sheets and service reports, and quote any extra work you find.

Highrise Mechanical is a Melbourne commercial mechanical contractor working on high-rise and commercial buildings. Our service and maintenance work is growing, and we're looking for a senior service tech to lead it on the tools.

The role
