Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. in Alice Springs, NT is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to assess security needs, install and maintain Electronic Access Control, CCTV, and alarm systems. You will work with customers and the Field Service Supervisor to ensure satisfaction and successful service delivery.

The role requires experience as a Security Technician or Electrician, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. Training is provided, and on-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Security Technician or Electrician
• Ability to understand and explain electronic security systems to clients
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
• Self‑motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
• Ability to be on call, work a rotating roster
• Configuration of security systems hardware and software
• Diagnose faults and repairs on security systems

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to assess their security requirements and identify suitable solutions
• Generate tailored solutions with emphasis on Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS), CCTV, and alarm systems
• Collaborate with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery success
• Provide expert knowledge of products and services to guide customers' purchasing decisions
• Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (training provided)
• Diagnose faults and repairs on security systems
