Job summary

Honeywell in Alice Springs, NT is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to address customer needs in electronic security, including EACS, CCTV and alarm systems. You will service Honeywell and third-party equipment and work with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery success.

This role requires experience as a Security Technician or Electrician, strong communication, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Experience as Security Technician or Electrician.
Ability to understand and explain electronic security systems to clients.
Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision.
On-call availability with rotating roster.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to assess their security requirements and identify suitable solutions
Generate tailored solutions with a specific emphasis on Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS), CCTV, and alarm systems
Collaborate with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery success
Provide expert knowledge of our products and services to help guide customers' purchasing decisions
Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (training provided)
Configuration of security systems hardware and software
Diagnose faults and repairs on security systems
