Honeywell International, Inc. in Darwin, NT is seeking a Security Technician to join our team at the Darwin Correctional facility. This customer-facing role focuses on understanding and solving client security needs across electronic security systems.

You will engage with clients, tailor solutions for EACS, CCTV, and alarm systems, and work with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure satisfaction and successful service delivery. Training is provided for equipment and system configurations.

Qualifications

• Engage with customers to assess security requirements and recommend solutions.
• Provide expert knowledge of Honeywell products and services to guide purchasing decisions.
• Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment; training provided.
• Configuration of security systems hardware and software; diagnose faults and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to assess security requirements and identify suitable solutions
• Generate tailored solutions with emphasis on EACS, CCTV, and alarm systems
• Collaborate with Field Service Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery success
• Provide expert knowledge of products and services to guide purchasing decisions
• Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (training provided)
• Configure security systems hardware and software; diagnose faults and repairs
• Possess EWP licence and ability to be on call; rotate roster
