Stake Australia is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Technology team in Sydney. You will shape how secure software is built, leading high-impact initiatives that span multiple teams and influence early architectural decisions.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, Risk and Compliance, mentoring others and raising security capabilities while maintaining a pragmatic balance between security and development velocity.

Qualificações

• Experience in application security and secure software engineering.
• Ability to influence architectural decisions across multiple teams.
• Strong cloud-native security knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Define and evolve secure engineering practices across Stake's technology organisation.
• Lead complex application security initiatives spanning multiple teams.
• Influence architecture and design decisions to balance security and delivery.
• Build security tooling, automation and guardrails for production readiness.
• Mentor engineers and raise the security capability of the organisation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, Risk and Compliance to support innovation and regulatory obligations.
