Job summary

Telstra seeks a Security Engineering - Senior Engineer to shape security controls across solution designs, leveraging cloud and enterprise networks to manage risk. You will deliver secure platforms and act as a trusted adviser to cyber, engineering and DevOps leaders to build Telstra's cyber capability.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years deploying application security across web apps and cloud.
• Experience with WAF, security policy configuration and incident handling.
• Strong DevOps integration and cloud platform expertise.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders to protect applications using cloud and AI platforms.
• Lead design, engineering and support of security platforms for web apps.
• Guide owners on tech integration and troubleshooting.
• Conduct architecture reviews and implement security solutions.
• Evaluate security products and contribute to roadmaps.
• Drive readiness and lifecycle management of security platforms.
• Provide engineering consulting and contribute to incident response.
• Act as SME and technical lead for application security.
