Job summary

CNS Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own security design and delivery for client engagements in North Sydney. You will drive threat modelling, implement controls across identity, endpoint, cloud and network, and mentor junior staff.

A strong MSP background and ISO/27001 familiarity are highly regarded. You will work in an in-office first culture with one day per week from home after onboarding, and occasional flexible arrangements for critical go-lives and incidents.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering or security consulting.
• Experience leading security workstreams across engagements.
• Mentored other engineers and raised delivery quality.
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Own the security design and delivery of client engagements.
• Lead security workstream to Operations handover.
• Run threat modelling and ensure controls and detections.
• Develop security roadmaps and uplift plans with clients.
• Mentor teammates and improve delivery processes.
