Senior Security Engineer – Financial Services

Join a forward-thinking financial services giant as a Senior Security Engineer, specializing in Microsoft security technologies. This is an opportunity to secure financial systems and protect customer trust in an everchanging environment.

The Role:

• Architect secure solutions to protect payment processing, online platforms, and internal infrastructures.
• Design security monitoring frameworks to detect fraud, insider threats, and cyberattacks in real time.
• Strengthen endpoint security across financial networks, workstations, and cloud environments.
• Leverage AI-powered analytics to detect anomalies, prevent fraud, and rapidly respond to security incidents.
• Implement Zero Trust principles to protect identities, secure privileged accounts, and prevent unauthorized access.

Key Skills:

• Network security solutions such as Azure Firewalls, WAF and Azure DDoS protection
• Experienced with Microsoft Sentinel and SIEM/SOAR technologies
• Microsoft endpoint protection with Intune & Defender
• Alignment with PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and global financial security regulations.
• Experience with Azure IAM and Keyvault
• Hybrid work model with Sydney CBD office
