Job summary

Xero is seeking a Senior Engineer in Security Defence to design, build and operate capabilities that detect and respond to threats. You will work with Security Operations, Response, CX, Product and Engineering to turn threat intel into reliable security controls that protect customers and the business.

You will lead complex technical work, influence engineering direction, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous learning across Security Defence and the wider team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating production security capabilities or services.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, threats and incident response best practices.
