Job summary

Smartrecruiters, Inc. is seeking a proactive Cyber Security Assurance professional based in Sydney to embed security-by-design across business and technology initiatives.

You will work with security leaders, project teams and vendors to assess solutions and recommend pragmatic controls that support secure business outcomes. You will conduct assurance reviews, develop standards, and perform risk assessments including third-party reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in cyber security, information security assurance or risk management.
• Experience reviewing architectures, data flows and integrations.
• Experience with risk assessments and third-party risk reviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct information security assurance reviews across initiatives through the project lifecycle.
• Develop and communicate security requirements, standards and guidance.
• Identify security risks and recommend pragmatic controls and risk treatment options.
• Perform TPRA and ISRA for projects, vendors and IT implementations.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, security reviews and testing activities.
