Job summary

Gartner, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to strengthen its global Security Operations Center.

The role combines hands-on investigations with development of detection content, playbooks, and automation to improve threat detection and response across cloud, endpoint, and network environments. You will mentor teammates, act as escalation support for analysts, and help drive continuous improvement of SOC maturity in a 24x7, multi-timezone setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in information security, security operations or incident response.
• Experience triaging and investigating cybersecurity events in time-sensitive environments.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM or XDR, EDR, email security, web proxy and forensics.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex incidents from triage to containment and closure.
• Correlate evidence across SIEM, EDR, cloud, email, proxy, network telemetry to identify root cause.
