Job summary

Huntress is hiring a remote Security Operations Analyst in Australia to investigate, contain, and remediate active cyber threats within a human-led SOC. You will triage alerts, analyze endpoints and logs, investigate malware, and produce actionable remediation guidance for customers.

The analyst will also help improve detections, support SOC-related customer escalations, and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in SOC, incident response, MDR, or digital forensics roles.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and attacker tradecraft.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, or macOS and basic threat actor tools.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and Active Directory basics.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, respond to, and remediate alerts from the Huntress platform.
• Review telemetry, logs, and artifacts to determine root causes and provide remediation.
• Perform malware analysis when required and contribute to detection improvements.
• Support customer escalations and collaborate with Product/Engineering teams.
