Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to join the Managed Security Services team, supporting enterprise environments across monitoring, investigations, threat hunting and security outcomes.

This hands-on role requires independence, decision-making during investigations and guidance to customers and junior analysts. You’ll work across diverse environments, tuning detections, and contributing to automation and capability development.

Qualifications

• Experience in a SOC/MSSP/MDR environment.
• Proven ability to lead or independently handle security investigations.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk).
• Experience with EDR/XDR platforms (Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Cortex XDR).
• Understanding of identity/cloud security and incident response processes.
• Ability to translate technical findings for customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform security investigations across enterprise environments.
• Analyse security events using SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk.
• Investigate suspicious activity across identity, cloud, endpoint and network telemetry.
• Support incident response activities including investigation, scoping, containment and escalation.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex incidents and investigations.
• Tune detections and optimise to reduce false positives.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to SOC capability development.
• Collaborate with CyberCX teams and participate in on-call roster.
