Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to join our Managed Security Services team in Australia. You will lead security investigations, analyse events with SIEMs like Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk, and guide customers through containment and recovery.

You’ll mentor junior analysts and help refine detections, detections tuning and threat hunting across diverse enterprise environments. This hands-on role requires strong incident response skills, cloud and identity security knowledge, and

Qualifications

• Strong experience in security operations and MSSP environments.
• Hands-on investigations and incident response leadership.
• Experience with SIEM/EDR platforms and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform security investigations across enterprise environments.
• Analyse security events using SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk.
• Investigate suspicious activity across identity, cloud, endpoint and network telemetry.
• Support incident response activities including investigation, scoping, containment and escalation.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to detection tuning and threat hunting.
• Collaborate with CyberCX teams and participate in rotating after‑hours on‑call roster.
