Australian Payments Plus is seeking a Senior Security Operations Analyst to safeguard our technology environments. You will identify, investigate and respond to security events, driving threat hunting and vulnerability management in a hands-on role across security operations.

You’ll monitor alerts, analyze trends, and work with teams to implement preventative measures while producing incident reports and risk summaries for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience across security operations and incident management.
• Experience in vulnerability assessment and threat intelligence.
• Data analysis and operational technology support in complex environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead security monitoring across enterprise environments using SIEM, EDR, and cloud platforms.
• Investigate security alerts and indicators of compromise and conduct threat hunting.
• Coordinate and lead the response to security incidents, including containment and recovery.
• Develop and maintain playbooks, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide risk-based recommendations on vulnerabilities and system changes.
• Prepare security metrics, operational reports and risk summaries.
