Job summary

Brunswick Heads Fish & Chippery is seeking an experienced chef or cook to join our busy coastal takeaway, where we fry in pure beef tallow and focus on fresh Australian seafood, burgers and tacos. You will work across fryers, grills and prep stations, delivering high quality dishes and maintaining food safety while thriving in a fast-paced team environment.

We offer flexible arrangements including full-time, part-time or casual roles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a busy commercial kitchen.
• Strong cooking skills and attention to detail.
• Genuine passion for quality seafood and traditional methods.
• Available for evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook seafood, burgers, tacos and other menu items
• Work across fryers, grills and preparation stations
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
• Assist with stock control, preparation and daily kitchen operations
• Contribute ideas and work closely with our kitchen crew
