MEHTA & SONS PTY LTD in Kingscliff, NSW, is seeking an experienced Cook for The Salty Beardman, a beachside fish and chips venue. This full-time role requires passion for preparing fresh, high-quality dishes and delivering an excellent dining experience for customers.

You will work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure consistent food quality, maintain hygiene standards, manage mise en place, and help during busy lunch and dinner service in a relaxed coastal setting.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Cook in a professional hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of seafood, fish and chips, burgers or modern Australian cuisine.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen sanitation.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Manage mise en place and keep stations stocked and organised.
• Monitor cooking times and portions to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with stock control and minimising food waste.
