The College is seeking an experienced Technology Teacher for the Senior School.

This position is permanent full-time commencing in Term 1 2027.

Core Requirements
  • are a committed Christian, who is active in the life of a Bible-based Evangelical Church.
  • support the College’s vision of holistic Christian education.
  • conduct themselves in a manner in keeping with the College ethos and Code of Conduct at all times, modelling Christian maturity to the College community.
  • have the ability to teach across Stages 4-6 of the NESA Technology Syllabuses to ensure that the College provides quality education to students.
  • have exceptional communication and relational teaching skills.
  • have knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in schools.
  • holds a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC).
  • are an accredited teacher with at least Conditional Teacher accreditation from NESA.
  • work effectively and collaboratively in a Faculty team.
  • the ability to teach Hospitality or Computing would be highly desirable.
Core Responsibilities

The Technology Teacher should:

  • provide effective and innovative teaching practices for teaching Technology, reflecting the Christian ethos of the College, ensuring a high standard of outcomes for all students.
  • manage curriculum requirements for their classes, including programs, registers, assessment, feedback, and reporting.
  • manage student issues arising from their classes using the College’s positive behaviour framework and implementing relevant College protocols.
  • implement College protocols and strategies.
  • provide effective pastoral care to students through leading a regular House Tutor group.
  • support co-curricular activities of the College.
